Voice Private Lessons – Mondays – Ms. Gwen is a soprano from Omaha, Nebraska. She recently received her masters degree from Westminster Choir College in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy. Prior to her graduate studies Gwen earned her undergraduate degree in vocal performance from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Gwen has performed in a variety of operatic roles such as Countessa in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, and Constance in Polenc’s Dialogues of the Carmelites. Gwen’s background includes performances as a Jazz vocalist and performer in musical theater productions. An intern for Broadway Dreams Foundation, Gwen participated in classes and performances with broadway performers and performed throughout her undergraduate career in Italy and China, Princeton Festival and Steamboat Springs. Gwen’s passion is singing and enjoys teaching voice students the joy and rewards of musical artistry.

Voice Private Lessons – Wednesdays – Lyric baritone Mr. Will is sought after for operatic, oratorio and recital performances throughout the US and Europe. On the operatic stage, Will made his debut with Princeton Pro Musica as the baritone soloist in Orff’s Carmina Burana. Out in New Jersey described Will as being “an excellent voice”. Will holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music and a Master of Music degree from Westminster Choir College. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Music degree at the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, NJ.

Brass Private Lessons – Josh is a doctoral candidate at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, where he recently received a Master of Music under the tutelage of Richard Deane. He previously received a Bachelor of Music at the University of Miami, where he studied with Richard Todd. Josh is a current semi-finalist for the New World Symphony, a former winner of the same orchestra’s Young Artist Concerto Competition, and a 2014 winner of the Jan and Beattie Wood Concerto Competition at the Brevard Music Center. Josh has participated in numerous music festivals including the Monteux School, Brevard Music Festival, Banff Brass and Drum Residency, and Marrowstone Music Festival. His other teachers include Alexander Kienle and, his father, Gary Schwartz.
