About Back Beat Academy Summer Music Camp™
Back Beat Academy Summer Music Camp™ is a new type of summer
music camp. We have been in production on our summer camp since
2007 and we promise to deliver an educational and enjoyable summer
music program for students of varying ages and music ability levels.
Back Beat Academy Summer Music Camp™ will include rock bands, original rock bands, jazz bands, group piano
classes, master classes, private lessons and more taught by Music Notes Academy's instructors.

Back Beat Academy will offer students several exciting and educational classes, bands and private lessons. We are
allowing students to register for our entire camp, for three hours each evening per session, or register for classes of
interest separately. We think this is pretty great, especially if your schedule doesn't allow you to attend a certain class
at a certain time. This way you are not paying for anything you cannot attend...

How Our Camp Works... Our camp is a summer program. Everyone is extremely busy, especially students, however this
doesn't mean you have to overlook a summer music program, especially one that is so unique! We will not go boating,
swimming or have snack time - we will spend three hours each evening learning about and performing music!

And What does "Back Beat" mean...? In music, back beat (also backbeat) is a term applied to a specific style of
rhythmic accentuation with accents placed on the even numbered beats. This term can also apply to those even
beats themselves, such as beats two and four.
