Our Annual Winter Concerts and Spring Student Recitals offer a
unique and enriching musical experience for students of all ages
and ability levels. Student performances build confidence, represent
yearlong practicing and showcase musical progression and talents.

Our students perform in an auditorium, on a stage, receive
performance awards and trophies and receive acknowledgement in
our concert program. Beginner-level students are absolutely
encouraged and welcome to perform.

Our Winter Concerts and Spring Student Recitals additionally offer
all participating students the opportunity to watch our Rock Bands
perform live and meet other students and parents, it's a really
enjoyable day for us an Academy.

Student Biography - Optional, It's Up To You
Our Spring Student Recitals emphasize each student’s uniqueness, musical talents, yearly
accomplishments, honors and school year achievements. Students are encouraged to consider
their performance as a representation of their talent, music practicing and efforts towards musical
excellence. Students have the opportunity to write a biography which will appear in our concert
program. Parents/Attendees receive our concert program when entering the auditorium.
Recitals Terms/Policies Students are required to have studied music with Music Notes Academy for at least six
months as of June 2012 to be eligible to perform or Director approval is required. Student is required to be
enrolled through the end of MNA’s school year. All tuition and late fees, if applicable, must be paid and up to
date for eligibility to perform. Registrations are based on a first-come, first-serve basis and are encouraged
early for guaranteed placement. Students/parents will be placed in their 2nd choice recital time if the 1st choice
is full. Recital registrations received after March 31, 2011 require an additional $25 and student may not be
eligible for acknowledgment in our concert program or receive trophies/awards. No refunds or credits for
student cancellations/changes/enrollment discontinuations after registering, registration is not transferable to
other student(s) or sibling(s). In the event the recitals are full at the time your registration is received, parent
will be notified and recital registration(s) will be applied towards your upcoming tuition statement as a credit
only. By registering you agree that MNA can photograph/video your student’s performance(s) and use photo(s)
or video(s) within our websites/brochures/flyers/marketing. If a student/parent arrives to an incorrect/non-
registered recital performance time, the student may not be eligible to perform. Students who behave
inappropriately at the venue or leave the recitals early for any reason will not be eligible to receive their
performance award(s) and/or perform. Auditorium seating is limited, seating is available based on a first-
come, first-serve basis. Seating marked “reserved” is actually reserved, do not sit in seating marked
“reserved”. Students dressed inappropriately will not be allowed to perform, at MNA’s sole discretion. By

Students enrolled in Program 2: Half Notes, Program 3: Whole Notes or Rock Band Certificate Program
are already included in our Winter Concerts and Spring Student Recitals.
