Our piano curriculum includes the following areas of study:
In addition to studying piano performance, students will also
study music theory and musicianship skills, such as ear
training. We also incorporate significant amounts of
performance based repertoire such as ensemble music and
performance play-along tracks. Students will learn how to read
music correctly and perform repertoire that is challenging and
exciting!

training. We also incorporate significant amounts of
performance based repertoire such as ensemble music and
performance play-along tracks. Students will learn how to read
music correctly and perform repertoire that is challenging and
exciting!
We offer private music lessons instructed within a curriculum that
supports structure, balance and flexibility for our students. Weekly
instructional lessons and content are delivered via a comprehensive
curriculum which allows for each instructor to tailor instructional
methods towards each student's abilities, individual musical
interests and goals.
Our music instructors travel to the student's home and/or teach at
our East Brunswick, NJ school. Our focus is always on
comprehensive music instruction and a well-rounded music
education for each student.
We offer music audition, evaluation and competition preparation
during the regular weekly instructional lessons. Students are
encouraged to inform their instructor of upcoming auditions,
competitions, performances and recitals. Students of Music Notes
Academy have been accepted into Jazz Bands, Marching Bands,
Regions Band, All-State Bands and college as music majors.
