We offer music lessons within a developed curriculum that supports
structure, balance and flexibility for our students. Instructional lessons and
content are delivered via a comprehensive curriculum which allows for each
instructor to tailor instructional methods towards each student's abilities,
individual musical interests and goals.
Our music instructors travel to the student's home and our focus is always on
comprehensive music instruction and a well-rounded music education for each
student. We believe in a progressive and curricular approach towards music
instruction in addition to flexibility for tailoring each lesson to match the student's
educational and musical needs.  

Additionally, within our curriculum, we offer audition, evaluation and competition
preparation during the regular weekly instructional lessons. Students are encouraged
to inform their instructor of upcoming auditions, competitions, performances and
recitals. Upon auditioning, students of Music Notes Academy have been accepted
into Jazz Bands, Marching Bands, Regions, All-State Bands and college as music
majors.

We are able to focus on each student's
strengths, weaknesses, interests and
goals within the appropriate lesson length
which we determine based on the
student's age, length of study, musical
background and availability for practicing
their instrument.
Our Instructors

Students will study and learn music with a
dedicated, knowledgeable and
university-trained and degreed music
instructor each week. MNA instructors have
degrees in music, music performance,
music education or education specializing
in unique areas of study.

Our instructors are also performing
musicians, collegiate-level educators and
professors, public school educators and
freelance musicians, recording engineers,
music producers and writers with other
organizations that support music and
music education.
Our Adult Music Lessons program offers
adult students comprehensive music
instruction within a structured yet flexible
curriculum. Our music teachers will tailor our
curriculum towards your interests and goals
as an aspiring musician.

_About Music Notes Academy
Music Notes Academy is a community music school and New Jersey in-home music lesson provider. Music
lessons, available for young children, adolescents and adults, are tailored towards each student, in the
comfort and convenience of the student's home, within our comprehensive music curriculum.

Our unique curriculum includes music theory, practical musicianship skills, such as sight reading and ear
training, proper instrument techniques, classical, jazz, contemporary and popular repertoire - students will
learn songs they want learn as well. Each week, students will receive comprehensive music instruction from
our experienced and educated music instructors. Our instructors combine structure and flexibility which offers
a great balance in music education.
Students can additionally perform with our ensembles and bands, such as percussion ensembles and Rock Bands. Our ensembles and bands
perform in our annual Winter Concerts and Spring Student Recitals which commence in Madison, NJ in an auditorium on stage.

Private Music Lessons In The Student's Home

Students can register for music lessons anytime throughout the
school year or summer months. Transfer students (students from
other community schools, music education providers, music stores or
private music instructors) are encouraged to register for a trial
lesson with the Academy Director for performance evaluation,
assessment and proper instructor compatibility matching. Music
lessons occur in the student's home each week, on the same day
and time, with a qualified music instructor from September to June
in accordance with our academic school year calendar.
Music lessons are available in: drum/percussion, guitar, bass guitar,
piano, voice, woodwinds, brass, strings, music technology and music
production, audio engineering, song writing, composition and theory.
*30-Minute lessons are only available for
Early Childhood Music lessons or as a second
instrument of study.
