Music Theater Workshop and one-to-one lessons are great for students who want to improve their singing and acting abilities. Students will learn a variety of styles and learn how to perform with an ensemble. Solo performance opportunities are available with our Saturday Concert Series, Winter Concerts and Spring Student Recitals.
Musical Theater Workshop | Intro
Our Musical Theater Workshops are designed for students ages 8-12 and 13-17. Workshop classes are once a week, with a staff piano and voice teacher, at our East Brunswick Academy.
- Improve public speaking through acting and improvisational exercises
- Learn basic theater vocabulary and history of musical theater repertoire
- Perform songs from Disney and Broadway shows
- Learn how to collaborate with others onstage in a fun and relaxed environment
- Optional performance at the end of Semester
- Students are eligible to participate in our Spring Music Festival (mamtg.org)

Our Musical Theater Workshops are designed for students ages 10-17. Workshop classes are once a week, with a staff piano and voice teacher, at our East Brunswick Academy.
- Pre-requisite/Co-requisite of private voice instruction
- Student must have completed our Intro Workshop or have previous performing experience
- Audition/Evaluation required with Director of Workshop
- Opportunity to sing songs/monologues on-stage with peers as well as a soloist
- End of Semester musical review
- Students are eligible to participate in our Spring Music Festival (mamtg.org)
