Are you dedicated to helping our students succeed as student musicians?
We are always accepting applications for new teachers to teach private music lessons,
comprehensively, to students of various ages, either at our East Brunswick, NJ school
or in the student's home. We offer flexible schedules, competitive compensation and
the opportunity to work with a great team of teachers. Our teachers are required to
commit to excellence in teaching and support and training is provided from our Director.
Music Teacher Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive music instruction to our students
- Teach at our school or travel to the student's home
- Arrive to scheduled lessons and classes on time - be professional, be
encouraging, be patient
Teaching Position Requirements
- Have at least a Bachelor's degree in music, music education, education or a
related field
- Have the ability to teach beginner through advanced students, ages 4 and older
- Have at least two years of music teaching experience
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Have eight or more hours available each week to teach with MNA
- Pass a background check
- Applicants must have knowledge in music pedagogy and curricular approaches
to teaching music

Yes, teachers are required to a school
year commitment and employment
agreement.
Are there any benefits for teachers?
Yes, MNA has a Music Teacher
Incentives Program in place. Teachers

and instructional materials at great
discounts. Most of our teachers take
great advantage of this and purchase
their gear from MNA.
