Music Notes Academy offers music lessons within a developed curriculum that
supports structure, balance and flexibility for adult music students. Instructional
lessons and content are delivered via a comprehensive curriculum that allows
for each instructor to tailor instructional methods towards each student's
abilities, individual musical interests and goals.
Our music instructors travel to the student's home and our focus is always on
comprehensive music instruction and a well-rounded music education for each
student. We believe in a progressive and curricular approach towards music
instruction in addition to flexibility for tailoring each lesson to match the student's
educational and musical needs.  

Additionally, we offer audition, evaluation and competition preparation during the
regular weekly instructional lessons if adult students desire additional performance
opportunities. Students are encouraged to inform their instructor of upcoming
auditions, competitions, performances and recitals for optimum preparation.

Our Instructors
Students will study and learn music with a
dedicated, knowledgeable and
university-trained and degreed music instructor
each week. MNA instructors have degrees in
music, music performance, music education or
education specializing in unique areas of study.
Instructors are also performing musicians,
collegiate-level educators and professors,
public school educators and freelance
musicians, recording engineers, music
producers and writers with other organizations
that support music and music education.

_About Music Notes Academy
Music Notes Academy is a community music school and New Jersey in-home music lesson provider. Music
lessons, available for young children, adolescents and adults, are tailored towards each student, in the
comfort and convenience of the student's home, within our comprehensive music curriculum.

Our unique curriculum includes music theory, practical musicianship skills, such as sight reading and ear
training, proper instrument techniques, classical, jazz, contemporary and popular repertoire - students will
learn songs they want learn as well. Each week, students will receive comprehensive music instruction from
our experienced and educated music instructors. Our instructors combine structure and flexibility which offers
a great balance in music education.
Students can additionally perform with our ensembles and bands, such as percussion ensembles and Rock Bands. Our ensembles and bands
perform in our annual Winter Concerts and Spring Student Recitals which commence in Madison, NJ in an auditorium on stage.
