Bridgewater, NJ, July 2, 2007 - On Saturday, June 9th, 2007 Music Notes Academy produced
its 1st Annual Spring Student Recitals at The Madison Community House in Madison, NJ. With
much success and appreciation from recital attendees, students performed on stage amongst
stage lighting and received performance acknowledgement awards and trophies.
Performances featured classical, jazz, contemporary and popular repertoire as well as original
compositions increases performance skills, self-confidence, talent, hard work and practicing
throughout the academic year.
In partnership with parents and guardians, Music Notes Academy, founded in 2000, is
committed to the musical growth and development of each student and offers music
instruction for central and northern NJ music students in the convenience of the student's
home. The encouragement of dedicated teachers will contribute to each student's lifelong
learning and students will expand their musical appreciation and comprehension of musical
skills and enjoy performing music. Music instruction from Music Notes Academy teachers
emphasizes on the development ot musical skills, reading abilities, music theory, practical
musicianship skills, correct instrument techniques and performance of classical, jazz and
contemporary repertoire. The curriculum is comprehensive, sequential and in accordance with
the individual student's abilities, interests and musical goals.
Music Notes Academy is currently accepting a limited amount of new-student registrations for
the summer and fall semesters. The summer semester begins Thursday, July 5th and
continues until Friday, August 31st. The fall semester begins Tuesday, September 4th and
continues until Saturday, December 22nd, 2007. Music lessons commence weekly in the
student's home and students are expected to practice daily and complete assignments as
assigned by the teacher.
Brandon Kurzawa, founder, obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Rutgers University and a
Master of Arts in Education, specializing in curriculum, instruction and computer education,
from University of Phoenix. In 2007, Brandon and Music Notes Academy were recognized by
Metropolitan Who's Who for outstanding leadership and excellence in music education.

central and northern NJ and offers music instruction in the student’s home. “Music students
need additional instruction to compliment the education they receive at their daytime school.
Additionally, students who are interested in learning guitar, piano and song writing, subject
areas which are often not instructed in the public schools, those students can study music in
the convenience of their home with a professional music teacher.” Brandon Kurzawa, founder
and Executive Director of Music Notes Academy also stated, “The success of Music Notes
Academy continues to grow due to the increasing market of inadequate music instruction and
scheduling conflicts among students and parents. At Music Notes Academy the goal is focused
towards comprehensive and progressive music instruction and scheduling flexibility for
students and parents.
April 2, 2007 marks the beginning of the spring semester at Music Notes Academy and
continues until June 25, 2007. Students may register for the Spring Semester and continue
lessons through the summer months and into the fall semester. Music instruction is offered
year long and students are expected to practice daily, complete written music theory
homework and progress accordingly within the expectations and guidelines set forth by the
teacher. Students are encouraged to express themselves creativity and musically and submit
songs they would like to learn in addition to curricular repertoire.
Optional student recitals commence annually and this year recitals are scheduled for
Saturday, June 9, 2007. In addition to providing affordable student quality instruments,
instructional methods and materials for students, Music Notes Academy is working towards
offering online music lessons within the Academy’s web site which will offer a great outlet for
additional instruction, inspiration and interactive learning away from their instrument.
